Who we are
In 2008 The Direct Tableware Company celebrated 40 years of business. We were established back in 1968, starting out as a supplier of quality cutlery to catering, restaurant and hotel businesses.
Since then, we have evolved from being a leading cutlery supplier to a modern business that now offers a complete range of professional tableware, barware and kitchenware to cater for the needs of most establishments that have requirements for a professional caterer, bar manager, chef or any other food/drink function.
We love our food and regularly visit restaurants to try out different styles. This gives us a great insight into what is working with different cuisines and helps with generating new ideas for product selection. This way, we are constantly updating our portfolio of products and ranges providing our customers more options to improve and differentiate their presentation styles.
Our primary function is to ensure you receive the products you want when you want them.
What we believe
We think of ourselves as another department within our customers’ organisations…We understand that we are providing products that our customers use to generate revenue. We have to deliver so that our customers can deliver!
We firmly believe in quality and fairness, and it is reflected in every aspect of our business. Even our ‘Economy/Value’ products are selected on quality. We will NOT reduce the quality of our products just to cut our costs. Our insistence of quality is reflected in the products, choice of ranges and our customer service.
We regularly revise our prices to make sure our customers get the best prices in the market.
