Warehouse Assistant

An excellent opportunity for a full time Warehouse Assistant to join this exciting, fast and modern business based in Royston, Hertfordshire.

The Role

The role is 9am – 5.30pm from Monday to Friday and will involve planning, coordinating of the warehouse operation and logistics of our products.

Other tasks will include:

• - Selecting goods for dispatch and preparing pallets of stock for collection
• - Processing recall and faulty stock
• - Receiving deliveries, and keeping the warehouse organised
• - Maintaining high levels of health & safety
• - Keeping stock control systems up to date
• - Communicating effectively with the team to meet business need and dealing effectively with queries

About You

The ideal candidate should have a passion for giving great customer service, be flexible, with attention to detail, numerate and be able to lift and carry a range of packages.

Ideally you will have a forklift driving licence, but training can be given.

The following are also key:

• - Knowledge of IT systems, especially MS Office and Courier Shipping systems ideally
• - Able to use your own initiative, but also a team player
• - Comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse environment

We will train you about the business and our products and how you can help provide an excellent service to our customers.
